The ghost of the evil George W Bush has finally been exorcised.
Republicans have forgotten him. Americans have moved on. The poor guy, who loves baseball, has to go to Japan to throw out a first pitch. And he hasn't been gone even a year yet.

All the problems he created are now the responsibilty of others. Primarily, Barack Obama and the Democrats. The Rabid Right have nowhere to go. They are desperate. Their belief system was totally blown up by a roadside bomb somewhere in Iraq.

But Dubya has moved on and so has his Party. However, his policies still linger with a strong stench. It will take years and perhaps, decades, to clean up his mess. If the Republicans get back into power, they will only set back the process of cleaning up the mess. Their ideas are bankrupt and only fools would follow them one step further. Fools.

16. governors depend on condition of national economy... governors during Bush's collapsed economy
will get saddled with the blame. Same way GOP governors (including Bush) took credit during Clinton's terms of economic recovery.

5. Somehow I doubt that. Stupid and "Religulous" runs deep south of DC and outside of Richmond.

6. That's the PROBLEM with 'Move on' policy towards Bush1 and 2 - people don't hear how corrupt

and how illegal their administrations were.

If Obama keeps pace with Clinton's precedent, Bush2's legacy will be rehabbed within a couple years.

The ONLY reason Bush2 was even possible and a 9-11 event happened is because Clinton HELPED protect Poppy Bush and his cronies when he spent the 90s deepsixing BCCI report and all its outstanding matters.

BushInc should have been fully exposed to the American people and out of business for good by the mid90s. Instead we had GOP taking over Congress and Senate, and their corporate allies buying control of broadcast and print media, GHWBush's legacy polished and rehabbed, and next generation of Bushes planning their return to White House.

11. DING-DING-DING!
He still walks the streets as a free man. Until he's behind bars, he will continue to haunt America.

17. Because most don't KNOW how criminal the operations of Reagan & Bush1 administrations really were.
And when a few hardworking and honest Dem lawmakers had them at their most exposed and most vulnerable with Iraqgate and the BCCI Report, what did a few POWERFUL Dems do throughout the 90s? Side with protecting the secrecy and privilege - leading directly to the rehabbing of both Reagan and Bush legacies so that another Bush could run for the WH.
