PUT ON THAT PARTY DRESS The Obamas and their staff on Inauguration Night, January 20, 2009. Of the gown Michelle is wearing, designer Jason Wu tells Tomer, "This had to be one of a kind—so that it was. I really didn't know it was going to become the Inaugural Ball dress." And when he saw the First Lady wearing it? "I cried my eyes out for an hour." Official White House photographer Pete Souza snapped this shot between balls. It is the only photograph Souza has hanging on his office walls.

7. It was a very pretty dress but

I think it was a little young for her. I think it should have had a little more maturity. Of course it was black and shiny and not fitting for the ball but the dress she wore overseas to a dinner or maybe here to a dinner was gorgeous and she looked really really sexy.
