3. I used to think he was fairly liberal on domestic policy, and a neocon hawk

on foreign policy--I loathed and despised his foreign policy stance, and his willingness to support GOPers because of it, but at least it seemed he was sincerely following his convictions, wrong as they were. Now I realize he stands for absolutely nothing except Joe Lieberman. Despicable human being.
