The Duggers in need? A $500,000 Worth of Feminine Products Stolen
<http://www.katv.com/news/stories/1009/672569.html>

Conway - Conway Police Department investigators are tracking down leads in the theft of two 53-foot shipping containers belonging to Kimberly Clark, according to Conway Chief of Police A. J. Gary, and “it will be very interesting when they get to the bottom of it.”

According to a police report, officers were told by a representative of Exel Logistics at 1475 William J. Clark Drive that at some point between 2 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, someone cut a lock and entered the property. The thief or thieves broke into seven trailer containers, removing the seals that secure them in the process, eventually stealing two of them and leaving behind a seal that didn’t seem to belong on any of Exel’s containers.

Inside the containers, according to the report, were 9,064 cases of Kotex- and Poise-brand feminine hygiene products of every description, 152 cases of Huggies Soft Skin baby wash and 380 cases of baby wipes — each case containing 10 to 20 individual consumer packages.

11. It reminds me of all the old mobster movies
where they hijack a truck and the next day they're selling the stuff on the street... Usually cigarettes.

So if the cops see a long line of women behind a semi-truck--- they got their crooks.

14. There is a dollar store somewhere
or a string of bodegas, or a big flea market - about to run a hell of a sale. I usta know a crooked grocery salesman/tax free cigarette distributor - that's how it works now. This stuff is already being unloaded out of anonymous rental trucks....

16. Exactly so
When I lived in Miami back in the day, this kind of stuff would be sold cheap out of some guy's duplex apartment. I lived in the other side of the duplex and witnessed the sales traffic night and day. One time he had racks and racks of men's and women's suits for sale. Could be anything, whatever he could pick up quick-n-easy.

21. I once went to a "yard sale" at someone's house
and for sale was stuff like shampoo, soap, dishwashing liquid and dishwasher cleaning packets and the like. Fresh, new, never used retail products.

I had to wonder.

24. people at yard sales and flea markets sometimes buy the contents of Storage Units.
For instance I had a relative once go to one of those U-store-it places on certain day.

The owner of the place charged $200 for the contents of storage units where the people who rented them didn't pay their rent. The storage unit contents are sold sight unseen and you have to take away all the contents immediately.

This is very common.

The first time my relative did this he hit the jackpot. The contents of his storage unit must have been owned by an musical instrument repair guy because there were all sorts of saxophones, trumpets, and other brass instruments inside. He made a lot of cash on that one.

The next time he bought a storage unit? It had nothing but plastic and brown paper shopping bags all with the logo of an out-of-business restaurant.
