David Gregory is a tool
A post from a new blog.

Gregory is on Matthews right now talking about what a wonderful guy Incurious George is for showing up at the memorial service at Virginia Tech.

Yeah, Bush is just what the families of the dead want, a guy whose mere presence means metal detectors and heavily armed thugs feeling up granny's labia looking for box cutters (no pun intended).

1. Thanks for link to New Blog....(kind of goes along with what Diby says)
about "The Resistance" being "dirty hippies." :D

The Icing on the Cake for Gregory was his "dancing with MC Rove" at the Grid Iron dinner. After his sucking up to Imus frequently and his week filling in for Matthews where he looked like he was at a funeral because he knew he was "in over his head" ...we can only assume that Gregory is charming and personable...but his brain is the size of those now running Iraq War and our Government.

Inexperienced...pushed to far and too fast and thought he was "ENTITLED."

Disgusting.....

2. I regrettably agree ... I used to like him but then
he must have gotten taken to the woodshed and now he's back with the "program." Guess MS/NBC figures that they only have room for ONE liberal, and Keith O.'s the token leftie ...

6. I'm prepared to cut him some slack because of his past performance at the WH
Maybe he decided--and to be fair, I can understand why--that this is not an appropriate time to get in digs at Bush. The dude was there in the capacity of president of a country that was mourning the loss of 32 lives, not as a politician at one of those friends-only town hall meetings.

Although if most corporate-media reporters had said that, I'd be all "J'accuse!" It's just that I have a stockpile of goodwill towards David.

7. Maybe you are correct about "cutting him some slack" but Imus always drooled over Gregory's Father
as if it made "David" some kind of "Super Star" because he had a famous father.

And, Gregory seems to be following "in the footsteps" of those who aspire to be "RICH & FAMOUS" because they are "THEMSELVES" inheritance of "Rich and Famous."

I'm waiting for Trumps two kids to suddenly get "GIGS" on CNN/MSNBC/FAUX as REPORTERS because THEY are RICH AND FAMOUS.

13. I disagree
He recently mouthed the usual conventional wisdom against bloggers. Hes track record is very unimpressive.

8. a while ago, during a period when DU was bowing at the alter of David
Gregory because he would get into verbal spars with Scotty, I questioned his sincerity. My observation was met with cries of heresy.

11. Sadly, not an unusual occurence on DU
You are wise to remain suspicious of folks like Gregory whose membership in the Kewel Kidz Klub is life long.

23. Basically, anyone who was in "the Imus club"
should be considered suspicious. That show was the ultimate "Kewel Kidz Klub" & Gregory was a regular guest.

9. Gregory has long been a GOP suckup. (PIC)
Here's Gregory shamelessly appearing onstage at the disgusting spectacle that was "Rappin' Rove".

15. It should be noted that he did not volunteer to appear onstage; he was pulled from the audience
by the comedians and was asked, along with another guy whose name I don't remember, to be a backup dancer in the skit.

19. He was there in the first place
That's enough for me.

The fact that the press corps does not see the problem with attending such events is just sad.

20. Me too
Nobody really commented on it, but I saw it as the ultimate sign that Gregory had given in. Dropped to his knees.

And the really telling moment was that he seemed to be enjoying himself.
