Matthews spent 13 minutes on this horseshit.
Let Pat Buchanan moan about fairness and how mean Sharpton was to poor widdle Rushie for an unconscionable amount of time. But when Buchanan brought up Don Imus, and tried to make Sharpton look guilty for helping push Imus out of his job, Sharpton was ready for him. Al pointed out that Imus, in the fullness of time, said he thought Sharpton was right, and that he (Imus) deserved to be fired.
I really like Sharpton, so it was almost worth it to watch him polish off Pat. But I'm still appalled at Matthews' prosecutorial take on the Rush thing. And the TIME he devoted to it!
So now I'll watch a USA rerun of NCIS until Big Ed comes on at 6.
