I'm trying to find Republicans and conservatives she's had on as guests but no luck thus far....

does not already know the answer. If they prevaricate or weasel she can call them on it.

21. Yes they are chicken. But there is also value to the GOP in pretending

that she doesn't have Republican guests because she's unfair, too liberal, etc. The right wing loves to say things like-- "Just look at that leftist Rachel Maddow. She never has Republican leaders on her show. It's a liberals-only zone. She is afraid to debate the GOP."

Facts don't matter to the GOP. They don't have to acknowledge that Rachel invited them and they chose not to appear. They can just note that "Rachel doesn't have Republicans on. That's not balanced!"

Above all, Rachel is fair. She wants to make sure she gets her facts right and the story straight. She won't yell over her guests like O'Reilly does. She has her point of view, but she won't let that get in the way of reporting facts. Ann Coulter would never let the facts get in the way of presenting her point of view.

Rachel creates an win/win situation for conservative/rightist guests on her program. She gets her story and they get to present their argument to a hostile audience. The other winner is the hostile audience (i.e., you and I), who get a much better idea of what's really going on than listening to the same guest join in a refrain with Rush Limbaugh on his hate fest of the air.
