Twitter is negotiating to sell all your tweet message to corporations so they can use what you wrote to market you.

Nice, eh?

Next will Yahoo and Windows live record all your chats for data mining

Hmm,

4. Nobody really thought all this social networking crap was free, did they?
Why would someone spend megabucks providing a playground for people if they weren't going to take pictures of it to sell?

5. IIRC, it was one of the Twitter founders who was on Colbert about a year ago,
and Colbert was grilling him about how exactly they planned to turn a profit. I guess we have (part of) the answer...

They can market me all they want. I still have enough free will to make up my mind about what I want to purchase.

7. My tweets are mostly about the good folks at MSNBC
So if a corporation sees that I'm tweeting about Keith, Rachel, Ana Marie Cox, Craig Crawford, etc., does that mean they'll advertise on MSNBC to reach me?

No wonder Keith refuses to use Twitter. The people in charge of it are a$$holes.
