UNITED NATIONS - With President Barack Obama presiding, the U.N. Security Council on Thursday unanimously endorsed a sweeping strategy aimed at halting the spread of nuclear weapons and ultimately eliminating them, to usher in a world with "undiminished security for all."
"That can be our destiny," Obama declared after the 15-nation body adopted the historic, U.S.-initiated resolution at an unprecedented summit session.

"He would tell you he had not achieved what he set out to achieve--the beloved community, which was the goal of the civil rights movement," Baldwin said. "We still haven’t achieved that."

"You don’t hear much about (peace) to be perfectly honest with you," Baldwin added. "Dr. King was part of that Moses generation of leadership who actually addressed these kind of issues and put them at the forefront of their proclamations ... We need that in today’s world."
