GOP member shoots target with Fla. Dem's initials
How the heck is this not an attempt to target the life of Debbie Wasserman.. influence some nincompoop to thinking it is okay to shoot at Democrats. We have already had liberals killed sitting in church, by an idiot influenced by right wing hate.

MIAMI – A South Florida Republican said it was a mistake to shoot at a target with the initials of the Democratic congresswoman he is trying to unseat.

Candidate Robert Lowry made a brief statement to a local newspaper but refused to speak further Friday about the incident, which happened Tuesday during a weekly GOP meeting held at a gun range.

Organizer Ed Napolitano defended the gathering, as well as the use of targets that appeared to be gunmen with traditional Arab head scarves.

"That's our right," said Napolitano, president of the Southeast Broward Republican Club. "If we want to shoot at targets that look like that, we're going to go ahead and do that."

1. It's their right, true
But it's the right of sane people to see it for exactly what it is as well.

3. What the hell is wrong with these people?
A weekly GOP meeting at a gun range?? Yeah, there's some real serious candidates there shooting stuff up weekly instead of solving problems.

4. Keep it up GOP!
"I know that they're offended by the simple fact that we're here and we won't go away and we won't be quiet," he said. "For the Democrats, who are supposed to be the party of minority rights, they're not being very sensitive to our rights."

Yes, they have a right to be stupid, racist, misogynistic assholes I'll agree with that. But.. as far as being a "minority" that deserves rights? Typical twisting of words, they are not exactly candidates for sympathetic understanding and as far as being sensitive to mock assassinations of true minorities and women.... only a right wing fucktard would agree with that! I thought I had heard it all till this, man... it just keeps getting nuttier and nuttier!

6. He's shooting a SYMBOL
That could be a symbol of her as a person, but it could also be a symbol of her as a elected official or of her views. Hell, he didn't even shoot a picture of her, just a paper target with her initials.

It's not "an attempt to target the life of Debbie Wasserman" any more than a GWB dartboard would be a call for his assassination.
