Do they place too much trust in the CBO? Every time I hear
that the House or Senate won't mke a dcision on something until it's been assessed by the CBO, I cringe. I'm not saying those folks are idiots...they're not, butwhat they give are ESTIMATES! GUESSES! A lot of their guesses are based upon things that are unknown, and even the head of the CBO will admit, they've been wrong bcause things changed.

1. I wonder why no one gave a shit about their estimates when Bushes programs
were being shown by the CBO to cost a hell of a lot MORE than they said they would. I don't recall people waiting around
for the CBO back then. When it's a war or a tax cut they want - nobody notices or cares. When it's a public benefit - massive concern. WTF?
