For those that support the Death Penalty
Edited on Wed Sep-16-09 10:14 PM by GodlyDemocrat
For the sake of argument, let's presume that guilt is undisputed.

What benefit do you find in killing the guilty 25 years after the fact? What does this accomplish?

5. I support the Doctor of Pharmacy. He/she helps cure, not kill.

6. IMO
- They took a life, so they should lose theirs (in a humane way which is more than what they usually give their victim.)
- Vengeance is part of it, but not everything.
- Those that commit murder know that they could have their life taken by the state.
- It helps provide closure for the victims' families.
- The state won't have to pay to feed and shelter a killer for the rest of their lives.

Those are just a few reasons.

Why the fuck are you (those that are against the death penalty) so passionate about protecting the lives of killers, torturers, and rapists?

7. Why in the hell aren't they dead after 25 years? What does it
accomplish? It prevents them from killing anyone else. If their guilt is undisputed, yes early and often.
