Question If Fitz saw another crime being committed then
isn't he obligated to bring this to the attention of prosecutors and report it
even though his case was dealing with the Plame leak?

or is he free to ignore it?

what do you think?

1. Depends on if he'd be certain it's a crime
Hey, who's to say he didn't report it and the DoJ just decided it didn't merit prosecution? How would we know, I wonder? Just floating that out of curiosity.

Anyway, your question hinges on the issue of a provable CRIME.

4. The current argument is, 'Yes it broke the law but so what? There's no penalty'
so they can break the law at will in the e-mail matter. Well, unless it's obstruction of justice.. but that's hard to prove. ...Not impossible, but it's a little difficult.

3. Rove/Cooper Email Domain
What domain was used in the email communication that transpired between Rove & Cooper that Vivica Novak tipped off Rove about? Rove immediately ran to Fitzgerald claiming that he 'found' an old email that 'refreshed' his memory and needed to correct prior Grand Jury testimony. Has that email ever been published in the public domain?

5. No Rove - Cooper email. V. Novak didn't tip off Rove to any email.
Novak told Luskin, Rove's attorney, that it wasn't exactly secret at Time that Rove was one of Cooper's sources.

Subsequently, Luskin/Rove produced a Rove email to Hadley where Rove had mentioned speaking to Cooper. According to WaPo (no doubt using Luskin as a anonymous source for info), the email was on Rove's gov't email account. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/12/02/AR2005120201816.html
