Poll question: Is Karl Rove Above the Law?
Edited on Fri Apr-13-07 04:40 PM by Junkdrawer
Every time the net is about to close on Karl, he performs a miraculous escape. The jurors in the Libby trial, who heard all the evidence asked "Why isn't Rove here?"

Now, Rove is at the center of:

1.) The RNC Email Use / WH Email Destruction Scandal

2.) The US Attorney Scandal

3.) The GSA Hatch Act Violation Scandal

But will Rove be touched? Is Rove Above the Law?

2. I voted yes. A year ago, my vote would have been no.
But too many things are beginning to fall apart on Bush/Cheney/Rove. I view it as a building with a structural failure. First, you just see a few cracks. Put some caulk and paint on it, and it's good as new.

But then the cracks deepen, become more pronounced, and the repairs don't hold for as long.

Then, something fails. It might just be a sag at first, but then it becomes apparent that something more is going on. Maybe you can't see the cause, but you can see the effects.

Then, something fails and collapses. The collapse compromises and weakens everything else. (This is the point I believe we are at now.)

Eventually, the building collapses because the supports designed to hold everything together weren't able to withstand the weight and stress any longer.

I think Bush/Cheney/Rove will go down. And go down hard. But not without a fight. But something will happen that will quicken the process. When that happens, look out!
