Talk about Un-American!
Parents have a right to ask that their kids do not see our United States President's speech to school children. But, school administrators or teachers do not. They are government employees and they can offer a choice but, not participating is not only Un-American, it's Anti-American.

1. The schoolboards who are NOT showing
the speech are certainly guilty of partisan politics.

I say any school who receives federal tax dollars should be REQUIRED to show it. If a parent is racist enough to pull their kid, fine - I'm sure the older kids will see it on youtube anyway. I want all kids who are able to see it.

2. As it's been pointed out...
Republicans give Obama too much credit. 48 hours after the speech, most school kids will never mention it again.
