Glenn Beck's new role: FoxNews "Loss Leader"...

I used to work in the supermarket business when I was in high school and college and we used to have something we called a "loss leader" - this is a product we'd put on sale for a week or two to draw people in and while they were there they'd buy other things as well.

We didn't mind losing money on loss leader toilet paper or paper towels because we'd make up for it with hamburger or TV dinners.

Glenn Beck is now FoxNews' "loss leader" - Rupert Murdoch will happily lose money on him and keep him on the air no matter how many sponsors his show loses because the crazy nut jobs who watch it will stick around to watch OTHER shows like Hannity or O'Reilly or what have you later where the sponsors really haven't been challenged yet.

Until we can expand the boycott to cover all of FauxNews, we won't be able to get rid of loss leader Beck. We need to expand the boycott until Rupert Murdoch and the whole FoxNews brand name feels the pain.
