Remember the Enron Emails?
I imagine this has been posted on DU before but I just found this awesome, searchable database called the Enron Explorer. Guess who was on former Enron communications guy, Gary Foster's email list?

I'll give you a hint:

Here's a page that contains the two emails sent to "KR"

http://enron.trampolinesystems.com/focus/19185#focus=/focus/63407&

Here's a link to the Enron Explorer:

http://enron.trampolinesystems.com/

Does this have any significance in relation to the current DOJ/Email scandal? I have no idea. Just the same, it's an interesting site.

Enjoy :)

Bonus: Here's a link to Foster's bio @ Disney

1. Like I Have Said Before, KKKarl Isn'tAs Smart As He Thinks He Is
or he would have known that emails can come back to haunt you - no matter where you send them from.

3. My emails include the previous conversation.
Helps me know what's being discussed. So an email TO Rove could still contain a previous email FROM Rove.

8. k & r and good find
starting to think that the iceberg tip has just been found (per the whole RNC email thing). Rove is smart - but he also holds an arrogant belief that he can operate outside of the law - and the problem isn't if he crosses the line of the legal the issue for him, clearly, has been just not getting caught.

So today the big news is that the WH is claiming exec priviledge for ALL of these emails (ala if we find them - WE will vet/deal with them not ANYONE else). I predict that this will not work for them. Eventually this level of the scandal will turn even some of the hardcore base who against bushco- ala the "no problem if you don't have anything to hide" crowd that swallowed all of the contortions of the explanations why the NSA, DOJ, FBI, etc should get to have all sorts of new secret spy authority over citizens and violate more and more privacy rights with little to no oversight. Suddenly another slice of the GOP base will have enough and start wondering - well just what ARE they hiding? Esp if there are more and more connection to ROve and others via these emails to other distasteful scandals/stories like Enron from across the bushyears.

Hope that folks keep finding more of these and hope that they are tied to a wider and wider number of distasteful scandals.

9. Wow. Interesting data. Enron almost took over many GOP election
campaigns.

Thanks for the link.

It is a crime that the Justice System did not really follow through all the dirty deals which made up Enron.

Dear republicons: stop lying to the good and patriotic people of America.

We are sick of your unethical and amoral behavior.
