The Republicans were more than ready to use the nuclear option if necessary to get Roberts confirmed...it just never came to that.

This issue is too important to let slide away. This is a civil rights issue. This is one of the defining moments in the countries history, like civil rights, or ending slavery, or women's suffrage.
