Starting Tuesday the FTC has made a lot of robocalls illegal. These automated and unsolicited calls will face fines of up to $16,000 per call. Geez I'm going to call the FTC complaint site 1-877-FTC-HELP just to get some peace.

2. As I said in another post. If it works as well as the do not call reg it will be useless.

3. My experience has been that the first question on the complaint

form is "what is the number calling you". They get around this by giving you a bogus phone number and when you try and call it, nobody answers or you get a recording that again gives you absolutely no info on who's calling. I constantly check the website whocallsme.com and the posts on the site shows that everyone has the same problem. If these scam artists would put as much effort into actually working rather than trying to scam people, this would again be a progressive country.

5. I'm on the Do Not Call list and I STILL get robocalls

I'm going to have to report these ass-holes myself - I'm sick of their shit.
