Attn. (some)Gay men: Straight Women are not your accessories
I've had quite a few gay friends, and one of the things about being friends with a group of gay guys is that you're the "hag."

It's a sexist label, and I'm sick of it.

Carry on. :)

9. All my gay friends are botany nerds
Did you know that it's actually a stereotype in some quarters that gay men are into native plants?

California Native Plant Society, San Francisco Pride... demographically identical. :hide:

10. Strange post.
Have you thought about telling your gay friends about this, and leave everyone else out of it?

Not all gay men use the term fag hag. If anything, it's dated.

<blank> stag. That's what several of my gay friends called me.

I always thought "hag" was worse than "stag."

17. Don't sell yourself short...
I'm sure your cat also sees you as "water guy," "catnip toy guy," "litter box cleaning guy," and occasionally useful for purposes of being petted.

16. A friend's a friend. I have a very close gay friend--in fact, he was "man of honor" in my wedding,
we're so close. More loyal than the man I married, as it turns out. He's still my closest friend, and can call me "Skippy the Bush Kangaroo" for all I care. What he calls me, what I call him, what I call myself is no one else's business.

18. Attention some straight women, straight men . . . .
are not your accessories.

And vice versa (i.e., attention some straight men, straight women are not your accessories).

And actually, I thought this thread was going to be a rant about closeted gays who come out after 20 years of marriage.
