Obama and Beck to discuss Health Care Reform ?
Edited on Fri Aug-14-09 10:46 PM by vvera
This would be great and it would end this shit now!
Beck would either come off as a nut job for all to see or a total pussy to his faithful.

Next Hannity

He needs to put them in their place and end this bull shit.

1. Surely Obama is not going to boost Beck's ratings
by having anything to do with the guy?

3. Why would President Obama give Beck this kind of attention?
It would be Beck making false accusations and Obama cooly deflecting them. There would be nothing to gain from this.

4. I don't want Beck in the same room as my President.
The guy is scary crazy, as in he'd probably try to eat Obama's face. Beck and Hannity are not worthy of debating one of my dog's turds.

7. Yeah it'd be fun. But it wouldn't end anything
The backwash don't pay any attention to the content of an argument. They just cheer when words come out of their guy's mouth. I think most people know that Beck is a douchebag. They just don't understand that the GOP senators are not very different from the completely wacked-out crazies.

Which is the other problem with the idea. It sets up the false dichotomy of choice between Obama (Center-left) and Beck (so far right he's gone around twice). We need to stop letting the center be moved. It needs to go back to where it belongs.

Unfortunately there is no "moderate" republican to pit against Obama. This is because the party cannot be any further to the right without being completely insane, while there is LOTS of room for Democrats to move left, or stay in the false, right "center" where many of them are now.

13. No it's not real..
But, I think it would take away a lot of their BS lies and expose their outrages claims. I see a lot of average Joe's that just want to believe his crazy crap. Obama has the claim to handle Beck and dis spell his logic. The haters would still hate, but Becks fire would be over.

10. If there were to be such a public debate
wouldn't it make more sense for Obama's opponent to be somebody who actually knows something about our healthcare system?

12. Misleading Subject Line - - Please Stop

Your subject line implies that this is going to happen, when in fact you're talking about something that, in your opinion, should happen. Stop.

The President of the United States, the most powerful man in the world, address/discuss with one of the most psychology sick men in the world ...and you suggest they should discuss health care...you have got to be kidding me!

What the hell are you smoking boy?

16. That would be a great idea
But I'm not sure Beck would be the best to air the issues since he seems not to be able to talk much without seeming to be an idiot to thinking people (not to mention his spittle problem I've noticed). It would be much better to empanel some "Christian" conservatives, folks in the medical field, economists, and Obama himself in a civil discourse to work out what would work well for everyone.

As usual, the Beckian freepers are hurting everyone's cause in working out our health care problem. When you really do the numbers, single payer only makes sense.
