Glenn Beck is weak...very, very weak...
I got off work a little early yesterday and turned on a local talk radio station. Glenn Beck was ranting and raving about "them" and "us". "They are terrified", he said, referring to the liberals. "Healthcare is not a God-given right" like all the other rights that are in the Constitution, he said. It was such a weak argument but he was talking to himself and there was no one to dispute him. Healthcare is not a right but making a fortune off the pain and suffering of others is a right? It is not a right like free speech or the right to bear arms? A "more perfect union" does not include a healthier union. The "common good" or "promote the general welfare" does not mean what the liberals think it means. The common good means whatever is good for the corporations and the wealthy. Just ask Glenn Beck. He will explain it to you...

1. Profound Kentuck!
Healthcare is not a right but making a fortune off the pain and suffering of others is a right?

And not just a right but one they'd kill for.

What an inversion of reality.

2. It is stated in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights
Article 25.

* (1) Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and medical care and necessary social services, and the right to security in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood, old age or other lack of livelihood in circumstances beyond his control.

3. The Daily Show exposed his major hypocrisy on health care in the US last night.
Twas priceless! The man who now warns on Fox News against the loss of the "greatest health care system in the world" was moaning and whiningin January on CNN, allegedly after a hemorrhoid operation, about having been "exposed" to the same health care system. His campaign then was against US health care. What an ass. Literally.

7. And the thing is...
He's not that entertaining.

Everyone knows what an ass Limbaugh is and it's mostly an act, like the bad guys in wrestling but he cracks a lot of people up with his bullshit.

Beck is sounds like a grade schooler with his arguments and mentality.

14. Yes, like a grade schooler. With him, they're aiming for the REALLLY stoopid nutters
Rousing them up, pointing them like a thousand loaded guns. I'll bet the gun guy at the Obama event really admires Beck. Probably one of the few TV talking heads he actually understands.

5. Saw that last night, it was great.
There seems to be a real dislike of this guy among people in the media. Some conservative idiot pundits must manage to be decent people off-air, and I'm betting that's not the case for Beck. It seems that Stewart, Keith and the others really do dislike this guy.

6. Outstanding Daily Show report. And I mean report. Sometimes it is the only honest news out there.

12. It's really not a big deal...
For me, I prefer to look at the number of views of a post, rather than the rec's or unrec's. At least, you know they looked at your post. :-)

15. If you really listen to him, he doesn't say anything, because he doesn't
know anything. He speaks in outrage generalities. Just ambiguous enough for an idiot to fill in the blanks with their own pre-conceived hate narrative. It is basically, be afraid, government is bad with no details.
