why we must attack Iran
Iran planning to stop using U.S. dollar to price oil, central bank governor says

http://www.iht.com/articles/ap/2007/03/28/business/AS-FIN-Malaysia-Iran-Oil-Dollars.php

this is what sunk Sadaam as well

Was Iraq's decision to change payment for its oil from dollars to euros a reason for the U.S. to attack Iraq?

2. I hope that they arent planning on a ground war
We have no troops left. The only thing that we can do is nuke them using a few dozen pilots and nuclear launches from the Naval strike groups off the coast. I also hope that they realize that while most Iranians are not for a war, if we attack them we will start some severe shit with a large group of professional soldiers. We will lose a lot of our troops that are sitting just over the border in Iraq.

3. A big reason for the wars and deceptions.
While we could probably keep the dollar as the currency of oil through the power we had with our virtual empire, once we went down the road of conventional empire, the ability to keep the dollar as the currency of oil was weakened. Countries do not like international bullies and beligerents.

4. Oh for fuqs sake this is old news.
However I don't doubt that easy oil is history and that is the reason for all the calamity going on in the region. I imagine the attack on Iran WILL happen in the next couple of years. But only for securing the rest of the oil on the planet. After that dude, we are all on our own.
