And that is the crux of how the republicans can use working class people as puppets.
(Jay Gould was an obscenely wealthy financier whose hand seemed to be behind most of what was wrong w/America in the late 19th century)

"Divide and conquer" is one of their most frequently used devices.
Unions stand in the way of their using that as a weapon.
