5. Rick Scott,

founder of Columbia Health Care, aka, HCA, had to resign from his position as CEO after HCA found guilty of defrauding the govt. IIRC, he was also behind the swift boaters. Sanchez nailed him big time. Asked him why, considering his track record, ANYONE should listen to him about health care reform! It was a thing of beauty. Hopefully, someone will post a video clip of it. I think it's safe to say that Rick Sanchez is guilty of committing an act of real journalism today.

6. As best I can sum it up -

Rick pressed him on his Fraud conviction (biggest fine EVER, BTW), pressed him on his assertion the a Canadian-style system would be bad (saying he gets constant messages from Canadians who are THRILLED with their system, also citing Canadians spend HALF of what we do on health care), and pushed HARD on Scott's business practices of closing hospitals, forcing him into a lame-assed explanation of why closing hospitals is GOOD for patients (ONE hospital can afford better equipment, you see...), and then SLAMMED him with the multiple complaints of dirty facilities and substandard equipment at his hospitals.

That's the guy that criminally defrauded the federal government by routinely submitting false claims to Medicare... what a role model for private for-profit health insurance companies!

I think CNN has decided they want to be a real news organization again... Cudos to Sanchez!
