GOP shills are claiming that the crowds showing up to shout
down Dems and healthcare reform are SPONTANEOUS. Blakeman is on MSNBC right now (I fell off the wagon with Laura and Euna this morning) saying that these protests are not manufactured to create viral videos in opposition to Dems and healthcare but are instead actual pissed off citizens who are showing up spontaneously in protest.

I call bullshit.

1. of course it's bullshit
they probably don't even realize that we were tipped off early about their marching orders.

I'm not sure the GOP will ever grasp the difference between grassroots and AstroTurf.

7. We all know that's impossible...
The Goopers are incapable of spontaneous thought and action. They only follow orders from their uber-lords like the good little brownshirts that they are.

9. There may be some degree of spontenaeity....
but when you consider all of the Limbaughs, Becks, Coulters, Hannitys, etc... out there whipping their audiences into a frenzy, it's getting a little loose with the definition.

They've started all of these Tea Parties, and "We Surround Them" bullshit, and there are some that have run with the ball. If the previously-mentioned twits up and disappeared tomorrow (O PLEEEEEASE!!!!!!), their machine would more than likely grind to a halt- at least temporarily, until another twit took their place.

And unable to take part in a meeting, make a point, ask a question or disagree with a speaker without acting like total a-holes?

11. I wonder if anyone is getting pics of all these meetings and comparing
one to another, looking for common participants. If not the shouters themselves, the people in the background going from one meeting to the next, whipping people up.

Half these people look like they come from Central Casting "middle-aged middle American redneck".

Are they getting paid scale?

19. About as 'spontaneous'...
...as the 'talkback' one gets when attending one's 475th showing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Just not nearly as intelligent, to the point, or entertaining.
