| LOOK LOOK LOOK - Template Found for Fake Kenyan BC |
|
Edited on Mon Aug-03-09 06:17 PM by Adelante
This is a post from Politijab http://politijab.com
It was a scanned image of a "Certified Copy of Registration of Birth" dated in 1964 for a David Jeffrey Bomford on a genealogy website for the Bomford family. Except that David Jeffrey Bomford wasn't born in Kenya, he was born in South Australia. But what was even more interesting was certain other features of the document as compared to the Kenya certificate.
The names of the registrar and the district registrar were the SAME NAMES as given in the Kenya certificate save for the first initials, i.e. G.H. Lavender and J.H. Miller in the Bomford document versus E.H. Lavender and M.H. Miller in the Kenya document.
Also, the book number (44B) and page number (5733) were the exactly the same on both documents.
The image of the Bomford certificate seems to prove beyond any doubt that not only is the Kenya certificate a fake, but that whomever faked it used the Bomford certificate as the template.

Everything. Not just the template, but right down to the numbers.
However, remember, Kenya wasn't a British colony when the Kenyan 'BC' was released (1964).
Though I guess they could have had the template from when they were. But that wouldn't explain why it says REPUBLIC OF KENYA.

| 79. It's the South Australian Coat of arms from before 1984. |
|
The original Coat of Arms of South Australia was granted by His Majesty King Edward VIII on the 100th anniversary of South Australia's foundation on November 20, 1936.
The shield featured a golden rising sun on a blue background, with the top or chief in white featuring three bundles or panicles of wheat. The crest featured a golden lion of England passant guardant (walking, right front paw raised, facing the viewer), in front of a blue flag with the Southern Cross in white. The supporters were a woman holding a "horn of plenty" and a male shearer holding scissors and wool. Two branches of golden wattle were at the bottom, along with the motto "Faith and Courage".
The 1984 Coat-of-Arms
Over the years it was felt that the 1936 Coat-of-Arms was inappropriate, since it did not feature the Piping Shrike (a fictitious bird commonly assumed to be either an Australian magpie or Magpie-lark), the state emblem of South Australia which appears on the state flag. Therefore the South Australian government sought to replace the old coat-of-arms, and the present coat of arms was conferred by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on April 19, 1984.

Edited on Mon Aug-03-09 07:16 PM by NutmegYankee
The one from 1936-1984 had a female figure holding a conucopia and a sheaf of barley, as well as a farmer holding a pair of shears and a fleece of wool as supporters. The crest showed a staff with a banner with the five stars of the Southern Cross and a lion. The motto was 'Faith and Courage.' The Faith and Courage can be seen on the fake Kenyan certificate. http://www.ngw.nl/int/aus/southaus.htm

from http://washingtonindependent.com One of my friends in the small community of Obama “birther”-debunkers passes on quite the discovery: a 1964 “certified copy of registration of birth” from Australia, easily available on Bomford.net, a genealogy site. There are striking similarities between this document and the one Orly Taitz is passing off as a “Kenyan birth certificate” for Barack Obama. - The design is identical, down to the seal at the top and the classifications (”Christian name,” etc) used for identifying the baby. - The “registrar” on the Bomford document is G.F. Lavender. On the Taitz document, it’s E.F. Lavender. - The “district registrar” on the Bomford document is J.H. Miller. On the Taitz document, it’s M.H. Miller. - The number of the book is identical on both documents: Book 44B, Page 5733. What’s more likely — that two Kenyan bureaucrats shared last names with two Australian bureaucrats, and that the numbers on both certificates were identical? Or that someone used this document, available online for anyone who wanted to look, to forge the Obama “certificate?”

The original BC (shown above) was posted on some genealogy site three years ago.
Obviously the person who doctored this found it online, 'shopped it and then printed it out.
Notice it's not scanned or a file where you can clearly make out the document? There is a reason. It's harder to identify a forgery when it's a picture of it and not a scanning of it.

I'm surprised at how quickly someone comes forward and says, "I can prove this is a forgery".
Things spread so fast on the internet, I wouldn't be surprised if someone who came across that BC on the genealogy site a year ago saw the doctored Obama BC and thought of the similarities. Then they went back and found the online BC from So. Australia and essentially found they matched.

And from what I can tell, this site isn't connected to Obama or anyone that could be accused of covering this up.
It looks like someone fucking fooled the hell out of these idiot birthers.
Probably looked for birth cirticifactes online, found that one, doctored it up, printed the sucker out and then took a picture of it.
Case closed.
Well not really. I think the person who did this should be caught and possibly charged with fraud.

I think the person who did this should be caught and possibly charged with fraud. For WHAT?!!! Photoshopping a joke? There are so many jokes in that "document" that it took but a couple of hours to debunk it as a fake. If Ed Hale paid any money for that thing, let him prove it. Ed is a renowned liar. If Ed says it... it's a lie. If Ed thought it was genuine, why does he claim to have sat on it for ten months, when his entire goal was to prevent Obama from being elected and from serving? If Ed fell for a joke, so what? If you fell for it, so what? Maybe you sent Ed Hale donations based on his lies and that's why you see it as fraud? Ed is the fraud, not whoever made a joke.

It doesn't matter how long it takes to debunk, it appears this person was A) trying to pass this off as a real BC and B) most likely was going to sell it.
The realism of the forgery doesn't make it any less of a fraud.
Look at Mark Hoffman, who fooled the LDS Church into believing his doctored and FAKED documents were really the writings of Joseph Smith. It was FRAUD.
Some were easily debunked.
But it's still fraud.

Eligibility Lawyers, Activists Worry That a Hoax Will Wreck Their Cause
By David Weigel 8/3/09 7:58 PM
Jon Chessoni, a first secretary at the Kenyan Embassy in Washington, can’t understand why his office gets so many baseless questions about whether Barack Obama was born in Kenya.
“It’s madness,” said Chessoni on Monday. “His father, in 1961, would not even have been in Kenya. When this matter first came up, the Kenyan government did its research and confirmed that these are all baseless claims.”
Nonetheless, Chessoni spent part of his day fielding inquiries about an image posted at the fringe conservative web site WorldNetDaily–a purported “certified copy of registration of birth” belonging to “Barack Hussein Obama II,” submitted by attorney Orly Taitz in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, part of her undying quest to get a judge to listen to the conspiracy theories about the 44th president of the United States. “I’m forcing the issue, where Obama will have to respond,” Taitz told the Website. “I am asking the judge to give me the power to subpoena the documents from the Kenyan embassy.”
-snip
The new focus on a bogus document from an anonymous source has riven the small community of activists who are trying to prove that Barack Obama cannot be president of the United States. The day after the image appeared online, prominent “birther” attorneys and activists worried that Taitz was doing real, irreversible damage to their movement. As she’s become the public face of the “birther cause”–on Monday, MSNBC labeled her a “leader” of the “birther movement”–other figures in the “birther” community are distancing themselves from her work and from this document. more http://washingtonindependent.com/53654/forged-kenyan-do...

What I found interesting is that she doesn't even have basic understanding of the American constitution. She suggested Obama, even if born here, wouldn't be legal because his dad was foreign born and not a citizen.

| 126. Australian Bomford on radio CONFIRMS his birth certificate |
|
Adelaide man caught up in bid to oust Obama Dina Rosendorff reported this story on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 18:36:00
The fake Kenyan birth document has been circulated by political opponents of Obama's, called the Birthers, who are out to unseat him.
A growing online community who are against the Birthers quickly picked apart the bogus birth certificate and traced it back to about as far from Kenya as you can get - Thebarton Community Hospital at Mile End in South Australia and David Jeffrey Bomford.
As for the unsuspecting man at the centre of the political storm, he says he's not a Birther - just a public service clerk from Adelaide.
-snip
DAVID JEFFREY BOMFORD: It's little old me and my mum and everything else up there. Oh I definitely confirm that the birth certificate was mine. That was quite easy to see - my address, even the style of the birth certificate was an old South Australian one.
So it's quite easy to identify that it's mine.
DINA ROSENDORFF: And looking at the fake Kenyan birth certificate what do you make of it?
DAVID JEFFREY BOMFORD: It's definitely a copy of my certificate. It's so laughable it's ridiculous.
-snip
DINA ROSENDORFF: Mr Bomford agrees with the experts and says he'll definitely be removing it from the website.
DAVID JEFFREY BOMFORD: I'm very surprised at how anyone would even find it on the net unless they were looking for something like that because it's buried on a little known research site that's particularly for my family.
So I was very, very surprised that anyone would even find it on the net. I'll be certainly contacting my friend who runs that web and asking him to remove it. http://www.abc.net.au/pm/content/2008/s2646009.htm

| 144. The Aussie cert is shopped. |
|
There are couple of problems with the Australian certificate. 1) It contains an entire section that is missing from the Kenyan one. The section is labeled: Signature and Description of Authorized Person, and Name, Description, and Residence of Informant. Why would a forger leave that out? It wouldn't be because it is blank. If he was copying this form, then it is blank on this form. 2) The australian document uses a vastly different font at the top for the "No.". Why would a forger change that? 3) The Australian certificate is obviously photoshopped. The Date and Place of Birth says "10th April". The '1' there is an actual number 1. Every other number 1 on the page is a lower case 'L'. Typewriters at the time would not have had the number 1, and probably not the number zero either. The practice was to use the lower case 'L' for the number 1 and an upper case o for the number zero. This would explain the 47,O44 as well. There was no zero on the typewriter. http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Adventist_Youth_Honors_Ans... So, the Australian certificate IS definitely a forgery. At least it IS photoshopped. Why? Who knows? Was it that way three years ago? Who knows, the link doesn't work now. But it isn't worth anything in this discussion. You can't use a forged document to try to discredit another document.
