I think the property in D.C. is getting scarce, and certainly the BFEE won't fund it. Maybe somewhere out in the west, next to the Imus Ranch? Mrs. Imus could certainly use the publicity to sell her soap and cleaning products.

1. We could etch the names into the walls of his prison cell
for him to look at for the rest of his sorry life.

Ah, I dream.

4. Good thought, but it wouldn't bother sonny boy a bit.
He would just color in the etchings with his crayolas.

3. I think his pig farm should be leveled...
and build the wall there. Either that or SMU - put the wall there instead of the library.

8. A wall honoring the soldiers killed in this war has NOTHING to do...
with Bush. Absolutely nothing.

Yes, he and others are responsible for their deaths.

But when I go to DC and honor my friends killed in Vietnam, Nixon and others responsible for their deaths are the LAST people I think of.

12. Of course you're right.
I didn't mean to give him any credit of any sort, except the credit for starting the whole nightmare.

I have been there too to honor my friends as well. I wish every american would make this visit at some time in their lives.

15. Thanks. I understand what you were saying and that you knew...
what honoring the dead was all about.

Let's just hope the list of names does not get too much longer.

Peace.

13. who built the VN wall ? A Vietnamese woman
designed it and I think it was at least partially public funding. So,
we built the VN memorial. Bush won't build a wall. But if one is built, I would like it designed by an Iraqi artist.

just my $.02

14. Someplace prominent so the next crop of politicians can use it as a backdrop.
For the next war. Then they can easily refer to it and spout the usual blather about "heroes" and "sacrifice" before going back to their fundraising.
