You know what's so hilarious about the "birther bunch?"
Think back to 2001. George Walker Bush was not duly elected, the American people at large had not embraced him as President, and the birthers never raised any question about his eligibility to occupy the Oval Office.

Here in 2009, however, Barack Hussein Obama was duly elected with the first comfortable margin since at least 1988, the American people at large have embraced him as President, and what are the birthers doing? Raising a stink about how the State of Hawaii conspired 48 years ago to get baby Barry elected President by falsifying his birth certificate or some similar bumpkus.

Sometimes you just have to laugh through the tears...

3. Exactly - that's why I said "not duly elected"
You know how the Vatican has "antipopes" who wound up in power through less-than-honorable means? George W. Bush was an "antiPresident."

5. The most hilarious thing about them, imo,
is the way they, irrelevant and powerless as they are, manage to stay on DUs front pages every day.

6. Because we're afraid they'll inspire some psycho to take a shot at Obama
And that cannot happen at any cost, so we have to destroy the birther conspiracy and its delusions while it's still really young so that its adherents will once again walk around aimlessly, scratch themselves, and spit on the ground out of boredom and disgust - the main thing is that they'll sulk at home and leave the rest of us alone.

8. Actually, the most hilarious thing is that...
...the GOP was openly discussing changing the constitution to do away with the "natural-born" requirement so they could run Arnold-the-Job-Terminator for President in 2012 or 2016. And every damn one of the birthers would have voted for him. Every damn one.

11. Not only that, but...
When the whole brouhaha over Bush's TANG AWOL thing came out, there were absolutely no records to be found stating that he had actually completed his commitment or where he was during certain time periods, but his supporters insisted that no proof was needed.

Now here we are with an actual birth certificate proving Obama was born a citizen of the US and all of a sudden it's not proof enough.

Some stupid is just too sad
