2. That is both makes me very happy and very sad.
I bet it makes Jon both too...because the man himself admits that he's not even a journalist. He's a comedian...who happens to be reporting on the news on a country that is so screwed up that you have to laugh or else you'd go insane.

4. Way cool. I like Times current poll.
Should Obama be forcing Congress to pass a health-care reform bill before its recess?

54% Yes
46% No
Total: 5726

14. Wow. Thanks for that link. Very, very interesting. Did you look at
some of the previous polls. I am going to write that web site down and look at it more often. I like the state by state results.

5. I'll Pass
I suspicion that Jon Stewart is just another media wh*re masquerading as one of the good guys was confirmed when he asked Should anyone take Hugo Chavez seriously? I thought it was just as disgusting as Rangel's anti-Chavez tirade (Rangel Responds to Chavez).

11. Huh?
I respect and support Hugo Chavez, therefore my "intention here not genuine"?

Oh, I get it - you're another comedian.

In case you didn't get the memo...

He's not a real news man. He's a comedian!

</loud whisper>

Unfortunately, he's one of the few ACTUAL truth tellers we have who has a big enough voice on TV.

17. "Was it worth it for the U.S. to go to the Moon?"
Iowa was the only state that said no. WTF is going on in Iowa?

Iowan: "Ooh, look an online poll... Oh, nevermind this isn't about corn. I'll just vote the opposite of what everyone else votes."

9. It's true. Very sad for our country that only a satirist is trusted, but true.
Thank goodness for Jon Stewart. He's done a lot more than entertain. As for the diehard FOX News devotees, I don't think ANYTHING would open their eyes to the truth at this point. In any case, they're far more comfortable with the propaganda and lies.

18. 22 minutes of content in a 30 minute show, and how much of that is comedy rather than actual news?
Hell of a comedian, not a newsman, and not biased at all. Never editorializes (fingers crossed behind back at this point). Granted, Morrow, Huntley, Brinkley, and a whole host of newsmen have editorialized on the air, but it was almost always accompanied by a huge "Editorial Commentary" disclaimer.

"America's Most Trusted Newscaster, post-Cronkite"? Think Dan Rather might have something to say about that? Cronkite retired in 1981 as a daily newscaster. In 28 years, there's been no one more trusted than a comedian on a cable network?

Please.
