I am tired of a lazy media...
How often in the past 2 weeks have ya heard stories about the health care/budget debate where they say.. How can we take a 1.8 trillion dollar deficit and even TALK about piling on a trillion dollar health care plan.. well they are mixing apples with oranges.. the 1.8 figure IS a 1 year budget deficit ( mostly due to the TARP program ).. but the trillion dollars for health care is for TEN YEARS!!! so that only adds 100 billion a year.. making 1.8 billion to 1.9!! not 2.8!! that is HUGE yet I haver heard NO ONE mention it....

Also all the screaming and yelling about how come there has been no improvement in the economy since Obama took office.. any one remember when Ronald Reagan took over in 01/1981?? I believe for over a year the economy went into the toilet!! but by 1983-1984 it DID come back.. I think the republicans well remember that and they are trying to get their licks in now before the economy roars back in 2010-2011.. I hope the democrats have the stomach to hold to there ideas and allow Obama to get us there.. but I have my doubts .. so many of them seem to have legs of jello..

3. Exactly. It's not "laziness" anymore than Bushco was "incompetent," or Dems are "cowardly"
All nice, safe, Establishment friendly euphemisms used to control thought.

4. Made Up Numbers...
The real disengenuous part of this "debate" is the numbers they're throwing around are coming out of thin air. Little is taken into account of the savings incured by turning the health care system from catastrophic to preventative care. People who now wait until they're on death's doorstep due to either not having insurance or too little cost more to treat when their illness is progressed, but making it easy for people to get check-ups or see a doctor when they notice early stages of an illness will save billions and make this a stronger and healthier company...that is unless you're an insurance company.
