I have a problem with "death heals all misdeeds" attitude
I didn't accept it when nixon and reagan died, and people demanded we worship them like saints (not here, but elsewhere).

We're organisms, we live, we die. What we do while alive does not alter its moral value simply because we die. Otherwise, we'd be honoring John Gotti and Hitler, to use extreme examples.

I"m just going to say that from now on, even though I recognize the need of some to post tributes to whatever passed celebrity they personally idolize, I will not buy into the concept that whatever they did in life is magically erased simply because they die.

Since we ALL die, that means none of us are guilty of anything, eventually, under that philosophy. That's absurd. History needs to be objective, not viewed through the rose-colored glasses of baseless idolatry of celebrity status.

There, I've said my piece.
