There are those with designs on being the next SC governor who don't want the current Lt. Gov. to take his seat and have an edge on the race in 2010. Then there are those who support the Lt. Gov (Bauer) in 2010 and they're calling for Sanford to step down.

It's a fun little political drama in which we get to watch a cast of Republicans all chewing on each other. The added bonus is the damage it does to their party along the way. :bounce:

Years ago, doing much study, I came across something that did make sense re the male at about Sanford's age. Kids fairly grown, definitely viable, so nature kicks in and tells the male it's time to plant seed in other gardens. Poor lads, maybe it is nature. So many get this bundle of energy where the little brain cannot be ruled by the higher brain anymore and some do adolescence all over again.

Not defending the lecher, but trying to understand. There just may be an evolutionary imperative at work for some of them. But, they should be smart enough to not be telling others how to live morally when they can't even tell their own dicks.

And I know a lot of males behave a whole lot better. You guys are great. Brains over paleo-brawn instinct is a very attractive attribute!
