6. She was one of the most prolific posters in the early days

along with @change_for_iran. Their information usually checked out with reliable news organizations within a couple of days and by video.

I'm afraid I'm a bit skeptical about the new account for @persiankiwi. Her last posts talked of being surrounded and ended with a prayer. I think it more likely she's being held.

@change_for_iran did surface 5 days later to post he was out of the city and in hiding. I haven't checked back in a few days.

Twitter these days is only good for the links to videos and articles. Most of the people posting seem like wannabes or government disinfo types.

Both persiankiwi and change_for_iran seemed like good people. They'd be on the guest list for one of my dream dinner parties. I would greatly enjoy their conversation.

How do we know this is the real persiankiwi?

This new account may be an impersonation... The writing style is very different than @persiankiw (e.g., use of ALL CAPS, multiple #tags, etc).

It's unlikely the Twitter account was "corrupted", because noone has posted to it since 6/24.

The Iranian government has been trolling Twitter, posting nasty disinformation, and would not be beneath torturing @persiankiwi's Twitter password, and using that account to spread more disinformation, or entrap other Iranians...
