This is quite remarkable. Two days before the tragic DC train wreck, there was a massive, graphic
train wreck simulation and drill held. The simulation was staged in two mangled train cars and involved
"actors" who wore stage make-up that realistically detailed critical injuries from a train wreck.
I watched the video of his simulation, and the fake injuries were very realistic. Not for the squeemish!

http://www.kcci.com/news/19794537/detail.htmlHeld in Iowa, the training involved the Iowa National Guard, in-state, out-of-state and national responders.
This simulation train wreck was held 6/19, and the DC crash was 6/22. I wonder if any of this training was
put to good use in the DC crash?
(edited to clarify dates).
