One thing I notice about the Republicans giving Obama kudos on foreign policy
The Republicans who think Obama's handling the international portfolio well include Colin Powell, Pat Buchanan, Henry Kissinger, and Dick Armitage--each from a very different corner of the Republican Party. But one thing they all have in common is that they all served in the White House; they know what it takes to run a successful foreign policy, one that gets results (even if two of them had a direct hand in creating the current international mess that Obama's cleaning up). The ankle biters like Limbaugh, Boehner, Beck, etc all have zero experience and apparently zero interest in actually furthering America's international interests; they just want to crow and pose.

It's nice to see that there are still a few Republicans out there ready to put country ahead of party. Too bad they're not the ones that rank and file Republicans look to for leadership.

1. Richard Lugar
Perhaps the smartest of the Senatorial Repukes on foreign policy. He's come out and said that O is handling things perfectly.

3. Are you sure about that.?
I know Buchanan was against it, but Powell and Armitage were right on board. Powell gave the world Cheney's justification for it. Armitage only recently began recovering from neoconism. I never heard anything about Kissinger not supporting the invasion of Iraq, much less opposing it.
