McCain: Obama not tough enough regarding "corrupt, flawed, sham of an election."
"Oooh, The Letterman flap is dying down. Look at me, look at me!"

Is there positive proof yet that the election was rigged? And what if it was? What does he expect the President to do? Before bullying other governments into cleaning up their act, why not fix our own flawed voting procedures? As evidenced by the election decision of 2000, we have no room to talk.

Richard Lugar, on the other hand has some common sense.

"I think for the moment our position is to allow the Iranians to work out their situation," said Sen. Richard Lugar of Indiana. "When popular revolutions occur, they come right from the people."

Lugar said he did not think it would be wise for the United States "to become heavily involved in the election at this point."
