It's good starving people have no food. If they have no food, they will eat less.

OR

It's good access to medical care for the poor is difficult. If they can't afford medical care, they won't be spending money on doctor bills.

OR

It's good people are losing their homes to foreclosure. That way they can save all that money they were hoping to use to try to get their mortgages caught up.

OR

It's good unemployment is high. That way the unemployed don't have to spend all that money on gasoline and vehicle maintenance getting to and from work.

OR
