Did I just hear Charlie Rangel right on a public option for health care? On the Ed Schultz Show.
Did I hear him say they were going to spend trillions to give to the uninsured Americans to buy health insurance? How is that a public option? That looks like a big Medicare Part D give away to the insurance rats to me. We want a public insurance plan like Medicare to buy into not a Congressional give away of taxpayer's money to buy corporate health insurance! I hope I didn't hear him right!

There needs to be a non-profit option - Medicare for all suits me fine. No one has the right to force us to pay a corporation's stockholders - oh wait, we do that every month with mandatory auto insurance. I wonder who lobbied for that? Would it be those same insurance behemoths?

4. Yes, Medicare for all and John Conyers has already crafted the bill for
it HR676 yet Nancy Pelosi won't let it come to the floor. Welcome to DU.

5. He's at the point in his life where nothing matters anymore...Got kids who need
to be helped and grandkids to get into the best NYC Schools. What the hell does HE care? :shrug:
