We get to play God? Because the doctor was playing God when he took the lives of the baby fetuses?
It's not murder if God wants us to murder?

If I am "pro-life", why must I have such disrespect for those that believe differently from I? In reality, we are all "pro-life". It's just that some of us muddle up our beliefs with empathy for our mothers, our wives, our sisters, and our friends. Somehow, in our muddled way of thinking, we assume that they are equal to you and I. And, in being equal, they have some rights. If they do not have the same rights as you, then they are not equal. Then we can debate whether or not we believe women should be equal to man and would the Constitution back that up in a court of law? Just a small, trivial, minute bit of the real world that some folks choose to deal with...

1. If you were "pro-life", you might very well see Tiller as a serial child murderer.
...and, in that way, yes, you'd feel better that he's dead.

It's got nothing to do with "respecting others' views", it's a question of whether a mass murderer dying creates a net positive effect.

(I'm not a "pro-lifer", but I understand their argument)

2. We're ALL "pro-life";
those thugs out there who try to bomb clinics and who murder physicians operating in fully lawful circumstances aren't "pro-life."

They're "anti-choice."

A very important distinction. Never forget that........................

7. No. "Pro Life" is the invented, trademarked, brand name for the evil you have witnessed today.
Anyone calling themselves "Pro Life" after today is branding themselves with the homicidal hypocrites. No excuse anymore to NOT KNOW WHERE THE BULLSHIT MEME CAME FROM AND WHY IT IS ABHORRENT.

3. I don't like the term, 'Pro-Life', because...
it is more used to describe people who value the unborn (i.e.; 'potential' life, or not yet sentient) over living, breathing human beings. Those who tend to describe themselves as 'Pro-Life' do not seem overly bothered by our wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Perhaps if we called the people we carpet bombed in Iraq, 'former fetuses', they might feel a tinge of something. I don't imagine that a person who was truly, 'Pro-Life' would cheer murder under any circumstances, never mind commit one in cold blood. 'Pro-Lifers' tend to forget that a fetus is wholly dependent upon the mother's body for survival for 9 months, instead, preferring to believe that a woman is more like a piece of rental property for their ultimate idealization of the 'innocent, pure, white-skinned, god-fearing Christian' that has taken up residence in her womb. No, I don't like the term at all when I take a look at those using it.

8. The "Pro Life Movement" and the harassment and terrorism of women and doctors go hand in hand.
Circa 1980's.

That's it.

God tells them to kill so they kill.

Al Quaida, Tim McVey, Bin Laden, all the same mind set. They guys back home always dance at the deaths.

I can think Big Oil kills, and really they do, but I haven't killed any oil executives and don't plan to because I'm not a murdering, nut-case, mind-controlled, robotic terrorist.
