Those of you with compelling health care stories should take him up on this.
I am giving away free FlipCams, the cellphone sized video camera that produces YouTube videos. I want you to use them to film short interviews with people who have been shafted by health insurance companies and HMO's, interviews with people who don't want to "keep the insurance they have" and interviews with people who understand that "choice" doesn't mean which insurance company's outrageous premiums you are forced to pay.
This is a contest of sorts, in that the first five people who send me an outline of the five stories they will video with their new camera will ge the first five FlipCams. I have already given away three, so only two more are waiting (although I could be persuaded by a really good set of stories to give more.)
http://www.1payer.net/myblog/news-and-blogs/175-winaflip.htmlThis camera is free to you, but obviously it costs me money to buy and send. So if you don't need the camera and can film stories and send them in to me, please do. Yuo don't need a FlipCam. Any digital video file will do. Send your videos to me at clark.newhall {at} health-justice.org.
Along the same lines as the video stories, I encourage you and others you know to send your own story of lost health or lost security or other health care horrors to the White House and the Senate by using the free efax tool at www.1payer.net. You can click here and I assure you, this is a fax tool that works. KenK, the IT genius, developed it and we have been sending lots of faxes with it. Send your story today. Click here. We archive and review the good stories and will be filming one or more for national TV distribution. If you have a particularly good story, we will send a TV crew to your house to film it. So if you really want to be on TV or know someone who should, call me or email me to let me know about it.
