My first one came in 1970 when a diagnosis of pneumonia was changed to 'a bad cold' when the clinic discovered that my company insurance wasn't scheduled to kick in for a couple more weeks. The second one happened in 1988 when a herniated disc somehow morphed into an 'imaginary problem' when the examining doctor discovered that my insurance had maxed out.
