on a Bible, and tell the f*cking truth."

In a skit with John Oliver about the attorney scandal and "showdown" with the White House.

Oliver responded: "Well, Jon, I think we know what happened the last time..." and they showed a photo graphic of a handprint searingly burned into a page of the Bible opened to Job.

:P

2. It was great on many levels. I'm partial to the part about Bush's initial offer
which was that Congress go **** itself.

Jon asked if that was really Bush's first offer. John Oliver said it was his first three.

Oh and, how if Rove thought he'd have to testify under oath someday he'd have to limit his advice to what's not shameful, illegal or spectacularly boneheaded. Perish the thought.

4. Are Jon and Colbert on vacation this week??
I just got back from a week overseas and I was disappointed to see the Bolton interview on TDS and Willie on Colbert last night.

I need my TDS/Colbert fix!

5. Senator Leahy to Karl Rove: "The Power of Christ Compels You!"
Rove rotates his head 360 degrees and pukes all over Senator Hatch
rather than answer any questions.

6. was there a thread about John Bolton and Stewart Monday night?
I thought that was a really hot show. I think Stewart was quite angry and frustrated toward the end.

7. who has better commentary: Jon Stewart or Wolf Blitzer?
CNN is a joke, Comedy Central is a joke that is more informative than CNN. What does that say about Comedy Central? Not much. What does it say about CNN? Everything.

"Alice Blitzstein" lol
