13. "metal of valor" is what she wrote
Edited on Tue Apr-03-07 06:07 PM by Crabby Appleton
not honor, but awards and military decorations are medals, not metals.

You could get a medal for valor, for example a Bronze Star (with V device) for Valor

Edited on Tue Apr-03-07 05:48 PM by sparosnare
She's about as right wing as they come; seems very naive and uninformed. I can see now why she pleaded the 5th.

30. Oh, there were "solutions"
Make it harder to get a divorce.

"Revising welfare to cut off additional aid for additional children" (WTF? Wouldn't this be the very epitome of DEVALUING children??)

"Christian education and development is thus crucial to all children, and should be supported by all parents."

"Teenage mothers be required to live with their families or in a residential care group home, in order to receive welfare benefits"

That last just floors me.

What a sick person this is.

22. Wasn't that quite a read? Since she showed a picture of her
stepdad on the page title "Family Addictions", it's pretty obvious that her parents were divorced, making her one of those "neglected" children. How does she explain her success?

6. Nice page. If I didn't know who she was I would like to know after reading her page.
Maybe she is a good person caught up in something she didn't understand. I could see her being naive enough not to see the evil she was linked up with. Many people are finding that they were bamboozled by Bush.

How anyone could think that this Bush Co had any good in them is beyond me but I think there are a lot of them out there.

7. Her little manifesto on "neglected children" is something else
Glanced at it a bit, and apparently sh's all in favor of 'raising' those kiddies, but she's jumping for joy at the thought of ccancelling programs that help poor people raise those kids...so I guess she thinks only "certain" people ahouls raise kids..

the others?

not so much :)

so no her parents are not still married. Perhaps she is manifesting an 'ideal' she's fabricated in her own mind because her own childhood was dysfunctional? Jus' sayin'. ;-)

32. She's a Department of Justice official that's been in the news lately.
http://www.realcities.com/mld/krwashington/news/nation/16977359.htm

WASHINGTON - Monica Goodling, the Department of Justice official who said Monday that she'll invoke the Fifth Amendment rather than talk to lawmakers, is a frequent figure in department e-mails released so far as part of the congressional investigation into the firings and hirings of U.S. attorneys.

Goodling, 33, is a 1995 graduate Messiah College in Grantham, Pa., an institution that describes itself as "committed to an embracing evangelical spirit."

She received her law degree at Regent University in Virginia Beach, Va. Regent, founded by Christian broadcaster Pat Robertson, says its mission is "to produce Christian leaders who will make a difference, who will change the world."

E-mails show that Goodling was involved in planning the dismissals and in later efforts to limit the negative reaction. As the Justice Department's liaison to the White House, she could shed light on the extent of White House involvement in the dismissals.

Goodling took a leading role in making sure that Tim Griffin, a protege of presidential adviser Karl Rove, replaced H.E. "Bud" Cummins as the U.S. attorney in Arkansas. Documents released to Congress include communications between Goodling and Scott Jennings, Rove's deputy.

Besides shelter and privilege, I'm not sure there's very much that's remarkable here. Of course, that's probably typical among the bunch that's taken over our government.
