Poll question: Why is Rumsfeld the whipping boy du jour?
Edited on Wed May-20-09 07:11 PM by Shipwack
I mean, I despise him with a white hot passion, and wanted to hit him in the gut with a baseball bat every time he started his "golly gee willikers" doddering grandpa shtick*, but now all these stories have come out about him over the past few days. Why now, and not before?

*Yes, I know that violent fantasies are not healthy either spiritually, emotionally, or physically. I'm a flawed human being and I'm working on it.

7. Why not? The greater mystery is how he avoided being the whipping boy for so many years.
He certainly deserves the negative attention.

to toss under the bus."

11. He's been the subject of much criticism before, too. He's responsible
for quite a bit of bad shit, so it's only natural people would blame him. Y'know, for the things he did.
