Two interesting bumper-sticker sightings in two days
Edited on Tue Apr-03-07 01:35 PM by IanDB1
First of all, this is my car:

Yestyerday, a guy in a white mini-van gave me the finger and then sped past me.

I eventually caught up to him... after he got stuck behind a woman in a white car with bumper stickers that said, "Hillary '08" and "A woman needs a man like a fish needs the bicycle." She also had a sticker from The National Organization for Women.

Middle finger right back at 'em.

And then today, I passed this guy:

Beside his "W The President" sticker, he had a Bush/Cheney bumper sticker... but someone had put two, neat strips of duct tape over "Bush" and "Cheney."

I hope he's the one who put the duct tape over his own bumper sticker.

That would fill me with hope.

1. Next year, maybe he will buy a bigger SUV to make up for his cowardice
Then he will become even more of a whore to Arab dictators and Exxon-Mobil's profit margins.

2. Your car has a fine rear end
I especially like the "Coexist" sticker.

3. LOVE bumper sticker threads
This is terrific--love your pics.

I have been seeing more and more protest in the form of bumper stickers. Yesterday, in the space of about five minutes, I saw three cars with almost as many anti-bush, pro-impeachment stickers as yours. Of course, this was in the liberal mecca of NJ, Montclair, but still...

7. My phone number ends in 666

you wouldn't believe the flack I get:eyes: I went to College during the "Crusades for Christ". Needless to say I ingratiated myself when some automaton came up to me before I had my morning coffee and said "Have you found Christ?" To which I replied "What, have you lost him again-you need to put him on a leash" . I also had someone ask me 'Did you see touched by an angel' to which a said 'No, but I was fondled by Satan'. Some folks just don't have a sense of humour.

Edited to add that I love Christianity. In fact on picture I have always loved was one that caught Jesus in mid laugh. There is all kinds of humour in the Bible and Jesus was not above a good laugh. I am sure if he didn't like my jokes, he'll tell me about it, but I can imagine him with a grin on his face.

9. I worked in a grocery store for many years & several times over the years,
a customer's order would total $6.66. I would always say "Your total is six-six-six," not "six dollars & sixty-six cents." Every single time the customer would buy a pack of gum or mints to change the total. ;)

6. I saw an upside down sticker across a jeep's window that said.
"If you can read this flip me back over!"

Kinda liked that one. :)

> 667 -- The neighbor of the beast

Actually, 664 and 668 are the neighbors of the beast.
667 just lives across the street from the beast. ;)

17. Haha! I like that one.
My mom and I saw a bumper sticker a few years ago that said: "Bad Cop! No Donut!" It was especially funny since it was placed right near the rear window of the truck...in a place where it would most certainly be seen by law enforcement if they pulled the owner over. :)

16. I Woulda Given The Man In The Minivan And The Woman In The White Care The Finger.
One's an ignorant asshole and the other is a bitter sexist idiot.

Other guy probably definitely put the strips of duct tape over his own sticker though. But odd he didn't cover up the one on the left too.
