How low can they go? Matt Laurer interviewing
Drew Peterson from jail like he's a rock star, a man who possibly killed 2 or 3 of his wives?
Appalling. Why even give him the time of day?

:puke:

1. My big question is why people even watch TV any more!!!
Our happiness factor has increased significantly since canceling cable. I get what I need from the Internets.

14. Everything from "The Toady Show" winds up on MSNBC within the hour...
The same shitbag rethug congressman that was on "The Toady Show" claiming that Nancy Pelosi was lying about torture showed up on "The Morning Joke" twenty minutes later, spewing the same lies and BS. Not surprising that Drew Petersen showed up in both places, as well. I turned both off within seconds of seeing the rethug lying about Pelosi. MSNBC in the morning is nothing but re-runs from the mornings on NBC.

4. You might be on to something.
I'm watching m$nbc, and the next story was about a busty mannequin being used to promote a bbq joint. I kid you not.

"The Place For Politics"? It's becoming a joke.

I need to go read a book. Fiction. It'd be infinitely better.

Not that life is supposed to be mindlessly happy - but it gives me thinking time.

12. I find myself tuning in less and less lately.
I had pretty much narrowed my news down to msnbc in the evening, but I rarely watch even that anymore. The more the networks whore themselves for their corporate/GOP masters, the less I watch. :puke:

13. I agree w/you 100%. Cable was canned almost a year ago
and while I have no idea what the OC or Hills are( I love "missing out" on all the pop culture nonsense) I feel a lot more grounded in reality.

6. totally agree
MSNBC just played a snippet of the jailhouse interview, and I was disgusted beyond words. Why are they making this killer a celebrity? Why are they rewarding someone who murders women?

8. The Today Show
should go on the Fox Network. They are either ignoring real news and promoting themselves (where in the world) or misrepresenting the real news but providing a bias view through their solo guests like Newt or Kitt Bond or Bill Bennett. They need a good email blast from DU telling them to get back to real journalism.

10. Is this Sweeps Week for daytime TV?

They all seem to be pandering to the crowd that is attracted by bright and sparkly objects as of late.

11. I HATE what passes for 'journalism/news' in this country.
It makes me physically ill that we put up with these treacherous organizations.
