a danger to the insured kind of prove the point that it's torture?

4. It would prove that it's risky or dangerous behavior at the very least.
I think that's all they care about. They probably wouldn't let him bungee jump either. I could be wrong about that. Many media people who carry shows and are considered assets by their companies, producers, etc. sign employment agreements that do not allow them to engage in behaviors that would threaten the well-being of the show, hence the use of stunt doubles.

Hmmm. Does Sean Hannity have a stunt double?

BTW- I am almost certain why we could get any of those "good news stories" in Iraq, the insurance companies told the MSM to keep their reporters in the hotel and report from the rooftop

in fact, 15 - 20 seconds of it isn't even harmful. Why would the insurance company deny it? :sarcasm:
