Michelle Laxalt, daughter of former GOP Senator Paul Laxalt of Nevada, offered a candid assessment of John McCain's cynical campaign, its suspect use of Sarah Palin to spout falsities, and its willingness to incite unfounded animosities with racial overtones in the midst of a financial crisis.

Kudos to Laxalt and those Republicans who have the courage to speak out against a candidate and a campaign that has willingly engaged in the suspension of decency for political gain. I haven't a scintilla of respect for John McCain and he should be ashamed of himself.
