More Sam Seder rumors: gone from Air America after next week?

Take this with as many heapings of salt as you want, but apparently, some viewers of the "SammyCam" caught one of his producers telling Sam to make a promo saying that next week will be the last week of his show. Also, toniD, a member of http://samsedershow.blogspot.com/2007/03/wherein-i-legally-change-my-daughters.html">Sam's blog allegedly received an email from Sam himself saying:

Hi Toni:
I'm afraid it's true. I'll be doing monday and then thurs and friday.. Off the record pls, but the radio people here feel this time slot should have "less substance" I don't think I plan to make a public dispute out of this...I am negotiating with them for a sunday show.

I'll let you guys in on more info next week. This is not the end of the blog, in fact, now that I have some notion of what I'll be doing three weeks out my blog rework can begin.

To be honest, Sam is having an extremely tough time getting station clearances, because of Stephanie Miller, who has the same time slot.

Could Air America be making a deal with Jones Radio, with them putting Miller on Air America's feed (hence the "less substance" remark)? Could they putting another Air America talent in the 9 AM slot instead of Sam? Or is this all an elaborate April Fools joke?

Here in Phoenix,they replaced Dr. Mike in the mornings with Stephanie about 3 or four weeks ago.

She is now part of my morning routine. There's a lot of substance in between the fun. I like her!

27. I'm in the NYC market and about a month ago, they took Sam off one morning

and ran Stephanie Miller, she anounced on air the call letters of her new affiliate in NYC. Then next morning Sam was back on, apparently they hadn't even told him he was going off the air that morning. Then I didn't hear anything more about it. I would not be surprised at all if Steffi was on instead of Sam. Also Mike Malloy mentioned that there would be new on-air talent coming to Nova M, not sure what to make of that, but I know he and Sam are good friends since their days at AAR together. I love listening to Steffie, but totally am bummed that Sam would go off the air. I love him and he always balances his substantive show with a healthy dose of his great sense of humor.
